Hopefully, I won't be there--but in any case if I do, it'll be for Fall 09 and onwards.

I'm hoping for UTD/UTA.

Roads are much much nicer and there are so many new places to eat. Denton has changed alot past 8 years. My wife works in Denton and takes classes at TWU. I'll be taking a night class on Tuesday next semester at UNT.

well they are actually redoing most of the campus, starting with the worst roads. so those roads should be complete before christmas break is over.

*fingers crossed*

They should also begin work on a rail line as well as a rail station in or near the campus so lazy-asses like myself won't have to drive and look for parking.

Yeah, I'll PM you. I feel pretty prepared but it can't hurt. Dude, Ellis is awesome. He's kinda weird but he's definitely one of the best teacher's I've had. One of the few people who probably actually enjoys his job. I would take him for macro in the spring if it wasn't at 8 AM... :shifty

There is parking all up & down Hickory Street & Oak Street. Or dish out $2 and park behind Lucky Lou's. Lou's parking only gets full around finals time.

Worse comes to worse, just park in the garage. I've never had to park in the garage more than 5 times the entire time I was there.

It's cheaper for me to go behind lucky lous, and I go there everyday.

The garage...I parked there once on my first day cause I couldn't find parking. Lost my ticket, that was an expensive day.:rolleyes

If your not in a hurry its great. Same bus picks up the kids from Jefferson Commons so you hear about some decent parties. Best parties were always in the houses near campus back before they built the frat houses.

Yah the bus can be relaxing since its less hassel plus its free.

Bus never went anywhere I needed to go. I made the mistake of riding it once, and walking would have been faster. I knew the manager at the jack in the box. And he let me park there for 3 years. It was closer than paid parking. I always felt bad though because hed chase everyone else away, even when they were paying customers. He also had me park out front, instead of behind. I ate there every day, but I always felt bad about taking up customer parking.

Any street named after a tree is a pretty good alternative. And if your first class doesnt begin at or before 8, maybe even 9, dont even bother buying a parking pass. Complete waste of money, There was never enough parking and I always ended up parking off campus just so I wouldnt be late. All the other vultures have claimed their rows by that time, and theres no point in spending hours circling when I would get to class before they ever did. Absolutely no problem finding a parking spot up close before 8, closer you get to 9 though, the harder it is.
