Well I got home, when I turned the key back and took it out of the ignition the car stayed on. I tried turning it back to on and start and nothing happened. Since its a manual, I just killed it to get it to stop, but everything was still on as though the car was running. I went to the trunk and pulled the negative off the battery, when I reattached it everything came back on. Now the key just spins in the ignition, if I do get it to catch and go to the start position nothing happens. Thanks for the help guys.

I would think you have a tumbler issue but I am not sure.

Best fix I've seen for this considering the cost.

Yeah, I agree. I fixed my issue for just a couple bucks. The dealer wanted $750 and a local locksmith wanted $300.
Actually, the local locksmith called me a day after I fixed mine and asked if I still wanted him to come out and perform the repair. I told him what I did and he politely asked me not to disclose that information to anyone else. LOL.

^^ Ha ha thats awesome. You should have told him if he pays you $$$, you wouldn't disclose it. But I got it all fixed by resetting the rod that comes out the back. But let me say, would these cars be easy to steal or what?
