just wanted some opinions of people who have the csl reps in 18's. they said the recomended size in 225/40/18 but i would like to run 235/40/18. will there be any problems in rubbing in the front. i hear its too tall for the strut housing. thanks for ur input.

When I ran my CSL's I had 235/40/18 all around and had no rubbing problems, but I was on stock suspension. I know a few here have 255's in the back.

^ Do you have any pictures? I would love to see that as I am curious about the OP's question also.

My old 99 M3 had the same wheels, and I wrapped them in a proper width 245/35R18 tire.

Fit great, never any rubbing, no fender rolling needed... I even tracked the car with them.

Running anything less than a 245/35 would be a shame!

e30'd much?

I also run 245/35/18 on 18x8.5s. They're a bit more spendy than the 225s, but certainly offer a greater level of protection.
