I've been looking into a set of BBS LMs but HATE the fact that the only size we get offered is 18x8. So I found a set for a e90 in 18x8.5 but the offset is 30mm.

I was wondering is any of you are running 30mm or lower offsets on your 18x8.5s. And what tire size your running to pull it off? If you are running a lower offset or even close to 30mm. Post pictures please!

If you want to have a decent sized tire (not overly stretched) then I'd suggest running a 225/40/18 with some fender rolling needed. I think that's the best solution if you want the biggest tire with the least amount of fender work. I had 18x8.5 ET38 with a 225/40/18 on stock fenders, and it rubbed under hard cornering.

These are 18x8.5 et33, which is close enough.

I don't have any fitment pics, but I ran a 235/40 on them.

I am running BBS CH et35 with 245/35 EASY. Slight fender roll. No rubbing even during autocrossing. So I'm pretty sure its a bit more aggressive then your set up. You should try in next time. On a et38 you should amost be able to fit 255/35 on a well rolled ( not pulled ) fender. But unless your FI like me 245/35/18 all around would be ideal for handling especially with a et38. Again. I run that with a et35.

Thanks. I may roll the fenders to the point of a near pull and try a 245/35 all around then. Why you running 40 series tires? Youd get huge clearance with a 35.

You need to stop worrying about wheels and get a new clutch!

Again , I already am running a lower offset them most of you who've posted. ET35 with 245/35/18. Check out this autocross picture and notice the tuck. Note: I just barely have my fenders rolled.
