Just messin with ya. The first reply, dental floss and hairdryer or heat gun. Use the dental floss to cut the adhesive between the body panel and the emblem. Heat source to remove stickum.

you will also have to use some type of solvent such as alcohol or wax&grease remover to take off adhesive residue. you also may want to buff or compound the remaining outline.

1. Warm it a bit w/ a hair dryer.
2. Catch a piece of dental floss under the edge and use it to "saw" through the adhesive.
3. Use the heel of your hand to roll off as much of the remaining adhesive as you can.
4. Use WD40 to remove the remaining adhesive.
5. Buff and wax the surface.
6. Enjoy the "Clean" look.

i don't want to spend money on it , i do have dental floss lol everyone does unless your from England. Alcohol seems get the adhesive off so can i use that ?

And another question is how can i make my rims look cleaner , like they have these permanent dots which cant be removed. I even tried a steam cleaner but that just gets the grease off.

haven't been on here in a while, but for your rims, try the mr. clean magic dry eraser. if that doesn't get it out, try a finishing compound or a bug/tar remover, if that doesn't work then I don't know what to tell ya bud..

Do the dental floss/adhesive remover on the badge. You'll want to clean the area and wax it afterward...at least I did on mine.

As for the wheels you could try claying them.

Fishing line also works. Floss wouldn't have cut it on what I had to remove(marine emblem) but for the BMW emblem, it will suffice.

Wait until someone is tailgating you on the road, then slam on your brakes. Tell the body shop not to put the emblem back on, when they repair the damage.

The easiest way to remove the badge is by urinating on it. and then without using gloves, peel the badge away. After, you rub poop on the rest of the adhesive to remove it. Works great!

In my quest for something hilariously witty, this crossed my mind.
Diet coke works well too, among other things.. Such as chuck norris's tears and the hopes and dreams of orphans.

Check This Out:

" A neighbour bought a new pickup, and got up very early one Sunday morning to find that someone had spray painted red all around the sides of his beige truck (for some unknown reason). He was very upset and was trying to figure out what to do, probably nothing until Monday morning since nothing was open. Another neighbour came out and told him to get his WD-40 and clean it off. It removed the unwanted paint beautifully and did not harm his paint job that was on the truck.
We all were impressed. WD-40, who knew?

Water Displacement #40: The product began from a search for a rust preventative solvent and degreaser to protect missile parts. WD-40 was created in 1953 by three technicians at the San Diego Rocket Chemical Company. Its name comes from the project that was to find a 'water displacement' compound. They were successful with the fortieth formulation, thus WD-40.

The Corvair Company bought it in bulk to protect their atlas missile parts. Ken East (one of the original founders) says there is nothing in WD-40 that would hurt you. One of the employees took some home and found many uses for it. He gave some to friends who were clamoring for it. It was the first consumer product to be sold in spray cans.

When you read the 'shower door' part, try it.
It is the first thing that has ever cleaned that spotty shower door. If yours is plastic, it works just as well as on glass. It is a miracle!
Then try it on your stove top. Voila! It's now shinier than it's ever been. You'll be amazed.

Here are some of the uses:

1) It protects silver from tarnishing.

2) It removes road tar and grime from cars.

3) Cleans and lubricates guitar strings.

4) It gives floors that 'just waxed' sheen without making it slippery.

5) Keeps flies off cows.

6) It restores and cleans chalkboards.

7) It removes lipstick stains.

8) It loosens stubborn zippers.

9) It untangles jewelry chains.

10) It removes stains from stainless steel sinks.

11) It removes dirt and grime from the barbecue grill.

12) It keeps ceramic/terracotta garden pots from oxidizing.

13) It removes tomato stains from clothing.

14) It keeps glass shower doors free of water spots.

15) It camouflages scratches in ceramic and marble floors.

16) It keeps scissors working smoothly.

17) It lubricates noisy door hinges on vehicles and doors in homes

18) It removes tar and black scuff marks from the kitchen floor! It does not seem to harm the finish and you will not have to scrub nearly as hard to get them off. Just remember to open some windows if you have many marks.

19) Bug guts will eat away the finish on your car if not removed quickly! Use WD-40!

20) WD40 gives a children's play gym slide a shine for a super fast slide.

21) It lubricates gearshift and mower deck lever for ease of handling on riding mowers.

22) WD40 rids kid's rocking chairs and swings of squeaky noises.

23) It lubricates tracks in sticking home windows and makes them easier to open.

24) Spraying an umbrella stem with WD40 makes it easier to open and close.

25) WD40 restores and cleans padded leather dashboards in vehicles, as well as vinyl bumpers.( not recommended for your BMW)

26) It restores and cleans roof racks on vehicles.

27) It lubricates and stops squeaks in electric fans.

28) It lubricates wheel sprockets on tricycles, wagons, and bicycles for easy handling.

29) WD40 lubricates fan belts on washers and dryers and keeps them running smoothly.

30) It keeps rust from forming on saws and saw blades and other tools.

31) It removes splattered grease on stoves.

32) It keeps bathroom mirror from fogging.

33) WD40 lubricates prosthetic limbs.

34) Keeps pigeons off the balcony (they hate the smell).

35) It removes all traces of duct tape.

36) Some folks even spray it on their arms, hands, and knees to relieve arthritis pain.

37) Florida 's favorite use is, 'cleans and removes love bugs from grills and bumpers.'

38) The favorite use in the state of New York : WD-40 protects the Statue of Liberty from the elements.

39) WD-40 attracts fish. Spray a LITTLE on live bait or lures and you will be catching the big one in no time. It is a lot cheaper than the chemical attractants made for just that purpose. Keep in mind though that using some chemical laced baits or lures for fishing is not permitted in some states.

40) Use it for fire ant bites. It takes the sting away immediately and stops the itch.

41) WD-4 0 is great for removing crayon from walls. Spray on the mark and wipe with a clean rag.

42) Also, if you've discovered that your teenage daughter has washed and dried a tube of lipstick with a load of laundry; saturate the lipstick spots with WD-40 and re wash. Presto! Lipstick is gone!

43) If you sprayed WD-40 on the distributor cap, it would displace the moisture and allow the car to start.

44) Keep a can of WD-40 in the kitchen. It is good for oven burns or any other type of sting.
It takes the burned feeling away and heals with
NO scarring. "

Everyone <3 WD-40. I fixed my Xbox 360's DVD drive with it.
