Has anyone out there sourced the male ends of the two 3 pin connectors that sit along the bottom half of the M30 engine on the drivers side? (snap into the two rectangular metal brackets

Mine are shot...the female ends with the boot are fine... but the male ends on the harness side are completely crumbled away.. they run to the alternator, oil level sensor, etc.. among some other stuff...

In case anyone needs the female ends, they're AMP # 827578 for the plug itself (doesn't include the boot). BMW Part number for this is 12-52-1-706-068. It's like $2ea and they're all over the web for sale if you search by that amp/tyco number... it's referred to as a Timer Connector. However, nobody I've seen so far has a link from this part that says "opposite end' or 'male end', etc... I found one link to a german manufacturor's page that was dead, and that was about it..

I think I know what you're talking about, but a picture would help a lot.

I'm going to U-Pull-it tomorrow to fleece some more parts off an e32 m30 if it's still there. Post a pic of the connectors your talking about so I can get the right ones. You can have them for my cost for postage which should be next to nothing.

thanks..let me know! Here's a pic from the realoem (It's #2 - 3 pins) and also one photo from amp/tyco's web page. Just to clarify, the photos below show the part that is available all over the place, i'm looking for the opposite end that's part of the engine wiring harness (there's two on the M30, sitting in two brackets on the drivers side of the engine under the starter and the oil filter canister)...they're used in some other areas as well.
