Tons of money but for what they took to make them I suppose they're a good deal. I could never imagine investing that much in my m30 to go n/a power but maybe someone else out there wants to entertain the though.
Anyway, just thought I'd show these to everyone for shits and giggles and let us m30 owners drool over the parts and wish they only cost a couple hundred.

How compatible would m5 stuff be? Seems it would be feasible with megasquirt, no?

Comes with a piggy back fueler. Would need more tuning based on your configuration.
Probabley has no power under 4k, but than watch out!
Very cool set up.

just m5 ITBs with adapter plates.... lame. You could get the whole s38 for his asking price.

That's very true. That's the problem with modding an m30 so heavily (or many other engines in the e34's). There is always a solution that could make more economical sense. Guess you just gotta commit and bite the bullet when you're dealing with the major bucks.

he prob crashed the e30 or something.
Agreed it is waaaaaaaaaaaay to much, for such little power.
There is an s38b36? (that could be wrong, im not an expert), but anyways a 3.6L M5 motor with 130 000km imported from germany for 13k (AU) (and includes driveline with 5 speed i think), and his two things together are like 7k or so, and wont give you anywhere near the 314hp the m5 motor will ... and if you inlcude the money you will get for selling the m30 out of your car, it is kinda easy to see the better option

So all it would take to adapt ITB's to the m30 is an adapter plate (aside from exchanging other OEM parts)? Assuming you were running MS? I remember on R3vlimited back in the day there was a guy in Tennessee that put ITB's on his m30 e30 but I don't remember the details

Unless you modify the water neck on the m30 the ITB's wont fit. The OEM TPS and mount blocks the water neck. Ask me how I know...:mad

Just buy a M5 and say, "Look what I got with my ITB."

He also has an auction for a 3.8 liter stroker crank. :drool
I'm sure that with the proper tuning a 3.8 liter, ITB, ported and polished, oversized valve, hot cam engine can make 300hp. Reasonable for $6500 in parts (you guys convert to dollars right? $1USD=$.64AUD). Especially considering you get a whole new engine. Then you can throw some FI on top of it. Anyone want to spot me $2k for that stroker crank? Those don't come up all that often.

I'm pretty sure the crank is just the s38 crank. Still uncommon, but not that uncommon, and it's a part that can get machined to like new condition when your s38 gets worn out.

whatcha talking about? The M30 easily revs to 6800. More if you put the proper valve springs in. 7200.

not here in australia unfortunately. you'd be lucky to get one under AU$7000
a local wrecker here wanted AU$12,500 for an S38 and 5 speed not so long ago :( it's a joke what they charge

ANyone ever hit 8000 reliably? I was hitting 7000 all day on my first and second build. I am looking for 7500-8000 on this one. I wold love that head with a Dbilas 309 cam in it. Slap some rocker locks and you ca hit 7500 easy.
