Ok, looks like my power steering fluid is low, i did some searching on here and came back even more confused, in my 535 I 5-speed, I am supposed to use ATF (automatic transmission fluid) for my power steering? and there is a special kind I am supposed to use? I am going by the dealer today to get something elese, I am assuming they will have this special fluid that probably cost a billion dollars.

I am pretty sure the 535's use ATF. I can have a look at my Biturbo in a bit as it is a 5-speed and based on the 535i. There should be a sticker on the side of it that says 'use ATF only' or something to that effect. I don't think the E34s used pentosin ever, but I could be mistaken...

Yup. I typically use the cheap-o O'Reilly's stuff.
