its nikasil. I heard it run at the salvage yard and it sounded good. Has low miles for a 93 740 that it came out of so I'm thinking it wasn't driven much when the USA still had sulfur in its gas. Wouldn't be a problem now.
Anyways its located in NH, I will entertain some trades like rims or aftermarket suspension ETC.
I have an e36 too so trades for suspension and interior for that would work.
It has the harness boxes at the top, but no DME.
Eurodepot has them cheap, also stock 530 DME will work with a different chip if you want to go with an aftermarket tune, stock 530 wiring harness works too.

Uhm, maybe math isn't your strongest subject. He's selling it for 100 less than he paid. He paid 600, so he's asking 500 for it, unless he's misspeaking in that he paid 700 and wants 600, either way you can't haz $100 b40.

$100 less than he paid, wich is $600. I assume that means $500? Or he paid $700 and wants $100 less wich is $600. Either way, doesn't sound like a bad deal.
How many people have run one of these on an aftermarket EMS (megasquirt)? I have an old car I would love to try to swap this into, but I don't want to have the limitations of the stock DME. Can you tell me what this engine weighs? Are you willing to ship (at my expense of course)?
Edit: Damn, 3 replies in the time it took me to type that...like 2 min. I am getting slow in my old age...

That reads two ways.
The "What I paid which is $600" reads that YOU PAID $600 for it, and 100 less would make the price $500.
I understand what you are saying now, but it was not clear at all.

You answered one of my three questions, the other two are:
What all is included?
Do you have the harness and DME?

He is the canadian buyer that I was talking about. Hanselhoff, you need to find a freight forwarder to ship it through canada. There is a lot of paper work for you to fill out. I would then ship it to the forwarder, they would ship it to you. If you are willing to do that on your end, I would be glad to ship it.

I don't make a habit of stomping in on other people's FS threads, but I want to address this, as the comparison between what's for sale here and what I offer isn't really apples to apples. I offer only alusils because I still see nikasils fail for the same old reasons, in all parts of the country, and I don't want people to get screwed if their "new" engine fails a few months down the road.
