Did the E34 with the under the seat mounted battery come with a plastic cover over it? My terminals are plainly visible and I was looking at a photo of PorscheH6's car in his DIY E32 rear headrests install and noticed his battery had a plastic cover that hid the terminals and top of the battery from view. Is there such a thing? Anyone have the BMW part number for it. I could not find it on RealOEM.com. Any clues?

Same here. But look at the photos in this thread it looks like his has a cover over it? I find no reference to it at RealOEM. I want one if such a thing exists.http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1052621&highlight=e32+rear+headrest

it has a cover but don't bother if you don't have it. It just prevents arcing from the positive. No worry.... If you are concerned just take a plastic gladbox....

If it has a cover I want an original one not a piece of tupperware in my car. Got a part number on it you would be willing to share please?

Thanks, I would certainly appreciate it. It makes it look much cleaner and neater in there with it on.
