G'Day,
The other night my car decided to have the left headlight go out on me and I got the DIP BEAM error message, and subsequently every time since that the car's been turned on.
I read in the manual that this means the globe or fuse is out, I was wondering how I'd be able to check which one it was, and if the globe is in need of replacement what to replace with.

Open the hood and open the fuse box, if the one for high beams is popped replace it. If not, probably the light.

I just has a look in the fusebox and it said left lowbeam was 2, 10.
I looked at both and they seemed ok, although in all honestly I have no idea how to tell if they weren't, not sure on what you mean by 'popped'.
Is there any way to easily get the bulb out for a quick look?
What sort of bulbs and watts are our lowbeams?
Also, what do you think about those blue bulbs that are supposed to give more light and make it look like day or whatever.

Just take that plastic cover off and then you just twist the back of the headlight and there you have it! Trust me you WILL be able to tell if the bulb has blown it looks like a storm has happened in there.
By the way love the NSW Europlates, much nicer than the WA ones as you've got the State and Country emblem making for a more authentic look. Here we just have a Black Swan.

Yeah I went outside just then and dicked around with the plastic cover and got to the headlight assembly, took the cap off and saw the back of the bulb and all the wiring and thought... yeah...this can wait til the day (I guess I just have to twist the aqua sorta coloured back of the bulb n that).
And yeah I love my Euro plates, they make the car look way newer and better I reckon. When I go to uni in Canberra I'll have to keep it registered in NSW because they don't have Euros as far as I could find when I was looking into it.

Yeah the plates make everything look fitted and balanced. You're right it does make the car look instantly fresh and new(er).

Especially when I first got them and they were SO reflective and shiny new. I've had heaps of compliments on my plates alone. lol.
