Just look at how deep it is!!!
The paintjob on this car for its age and being a daily driver was as mint as you could get it and then this shit happens!!! :mad:mad:mad:mad

Im gonna have to get this thing filled in and repainted but its gonna cost a shit load and I don't wanna be throwing money away because someones been a f**king prick! UUUUURGH! COCK! TWAT! BOLLOCKS!

I cannot describe the irritance and frustration!

Was gonna wax my car today as well but after seeing that I just dried it off quickly and ran inside. :(

my car was literally mint when i first got it and 100% original. then some asshat decided to key my whole effing car. the whole car got painted and it looks good although its not original, and then one week later some does a hit and run on me and i have to take it to the show. ofcourse insurance covered it all but i still had to pay $800 in deductable. try to find a shop that does good work for a minimal price. i'm lucky i now have connections with body shops.

Probably some fat a**s who can't get out of their car unless they swing their door as wide as it can go, and in the process of opening their door they hit your car.

They don't care about their own health why would they care about a stranger car?

Just cars over here are very expensive and I'm only 20 (21 in a less than a fortnight but still young). Most people over here don't own their own cars they have them all on finance but mine is paid outright and over here E34s are still rather pricey for their age. To have a car outright like this in perfect mechanical and cosmetic condition was such a pride and honor!

For it to have stayed in this condition all the years up to my ownership, its a credit to the previous owners and I have a responsibility to make sure the car stays in cared hands to honor that respect and for this to happen when its in my possesion breaks my heart.

Wait..... Is that it?

Is it a big dent or just that scratch?

that's what i'm saying... I've seen worse from a rock or stick throw up off the road by passing cars.

Yeah you can see its a dent when you stand back and you see these perfect lines in the panels and then this one dent!

you can try putting touch up paint on it until its even, and then wetsand it, then polish. it will still be noticeable but not from afar.

This is why you park your car away from other cars.

Or live in WI where ppl dont key cars...*knock on wood*

Thats the thing that annoys me the most though. Im always walking the distance from the very BACK of the parking lot.

I mean I know it sucks and all, and I'm sorry that you got a tiny scratch, but it's not that big of a deal.

My car has at least a half dozen imperfections in the paint, you should be happy!

Phht you have a station wagon.:rolleyes Ugly pile of crap.:stickoutt <that was a joke btw. <3<3

I guess the big deal about this is it's the first real imperfection his has. It's like you have a daughter that you love very much and some punk ass teenager stole her virginity. Kinda

God damn I hope I never have a daugher.

Damn, sorry for your loss. Glad that you're OK. Are you parting out? j/k...:stickoutt

Seriously that is not a big deal for a 16+ yr old car. Mine has dozens of it and there is some rust on doors and mismatched paint on the back where I fixed the accident damage from PO. I think car looks mad, tough and manly with all that imperfections and demands respect. It's been raining here for a few days and my car looks even meaner with all that dirt.

If my car was immaculate and that happened i would be angry, i think we all would, maybe not as much, but we would be.

Some dumb POS at the uni car park, hit my car, rubbed my back bumper/trim (badly, doesnt sit perfect now). I noticed when i got home the other week .. i was like WTF OMG WHAT A RETARD etc. etc.

But there isnt much you can do except if you see someone do it ... then it is a free-for-all. Especially if they just try drive away.

As for a solution: Just get some touch-up paint from auto classic ($16 i think). Then cut and polish like it was said above. It will be fine

ignore the "it's fine for a 16 year old car" crap, a mint car is a mint car regardless of age
if that imperfection wasn't there before, then you have every right to be pissed off about it
they took your vehicle, whether it's an '87 or an '07, and made it less of what it once was
I'd be livid.

Thanks guys. I've calmed down alot after a good sleep and reading some of your experiences, it was just the initial shock.

I'm not gonna tackle it myself I want a professional job done on it which for a dent that size shouldn't cost too much, I just hope they can get the IzurBlau right.

By the way Pooch, I actually have a daughter...so I am going to have to go through this pain again unfortunatley. Actually, I'll just cage her up, that sounds better.

LOL! That reminded me of Jermey Clarkson on Top Ground Gear Force when he smashes James' tool shed...again!
