Roof Rack

I am considering getting a roof rack for an 89 e34... I found one to purchase, but i dont understand how the mounting hardware connects to the car? Could anyone post a picture of the connections from their roof rack to the car? It would be very appreciated. Thanks!:D

I'm selling a BMW roof rack for a e34 or e32. This was the accessories market by BMW and if you have your original manuals you can see a picture of it under accessories for you BMW. Looking to get 125 plus shipping.
