It depends.

Hard driving?
Anything like stoner rock. Big riffs. Distortion. From old stuff like stones, hendrix, purple, led, to mid stuff like mr big, ac/dc, van halen, pearl jam, guns, faith no more to contemporary things like the quill, the killers, lenny kravtiz (not that new), aerosmith...

Going to work?

Faith No more - we care a lot.

lol.

Going to the night club?
Night club music. Hard beat! HUh! Trance, Dance, House music.

Taking a girl out?
Well, I tend to vary on lounge music, (s)trip hop, and some more calm, feely and "ambience preparation" music.

Real hard driving?
S38b38 music.

Everybody Out and Angel City Outcasts.

Everybody Out KICKED ASS. ACO wasn't bad, and I probably would have liked them a lot more if they were by themselves, but they just weren't any comparison for Everybody Out and DKM. That has to be a pretty difficult spot to play in.

I ended up buying Everybody Out and ACO's CDs. I went up to the table just for EO's, but I think the guy running the show back there was one of the members of ACO. Felt kinda guilty and just decided "eh, screw it... it's just $10 extra."

ACO did, however, have some damn-good guitarists and a badass drummer. Their lead singer just let them down by being really, really generic. Not horrible, just generic.

Sweet tap dancing Jesus, theres another ska fan on here. Wow... Check out Muphy's Kids and Jackmove on youtube. They're two local bands, pretty good, and you might see me on some of their videos. Also, it seems like you like the more punk-based ska but if your skaraggae like me try a band called Hepcat.

They've been playing the hell out of Whole Wheat Bread on Faction (XM/Sirius). They're not bad at all. Kind of a nice break from the crap Faction's been playing. I really wish they'd bring back Fungus... This "Action Sports Music" crap just isn't cutting it. Maybe it's just me, but Eminem should never follow "Kill The Poor" from the Dead Kennedys. Just not a logical combination of music for one station.
