Anyone Painted a nose panel?

I am looking to purchasing a 93 318i tomorrow. Its got 111k, standard, in good shape, for $1400. The nose panel has been replaced and is primer black, needs paint. The car is jet black. I tried calling several places to get an estimate but they all say they need to see it, despite my saying its not damaged its simply a nose panel that needs black paint. Yet not even a ballpark figure was given. I just dont want to buy the car then have to shell out $600 to get a tiny nose panel painted black. Any estimates would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys.

i wouldnt think it should be more than 250, but they want to see the car to be able to match it up...

Forget it guys, with some observation and prodding it seems the car will need a new hood, which in turn also would need paint. Little too pricy for my tastes so the car is out. Thanks anyways
