I just got done watching the Italian Job with the girl. I have always found Coopers to be freaking sweet and would trade my M straight up for a nice Cooper S.

So. . To the Cooper owners, did the movie Italian Job impact your decision when purchasing your car? Did you watch the movie and go hmm they look sweet I want to drive one.

If not, what made you decide to buy your Mini?

my wife got one MCS because she think's the car is cute

but i will never trade a M for a Cooper S

did u already drive one?

Is a fun car to drive, really handling... but my friend's Acura TSX smoked me a lot of times with his car...

maybe the new one with turbo and some mods is different..

girls call it cute cause it is im not gonna argue its small and yeah u get my point. i got a cooper s before the movie but the thing that got me was that it was a nippy little animal. handles great and the slogan actually lives up to the hype "go-kart like feeling" which it really does

i saw the commercials when they first came to the states and loved the look of the car then saw the movie and a few years later was looking for a small daily driver drove one and fell in love. lots of faster cars for the money but damn these are fun and with some simple mods they handle superb. it really is like driving a go cart everyday. its really hard to drive to work and not have a smile when you get there.
