I hear this annoying noise when I am in the garage (mornings / evenings) and it stops for a second or two when I bring to park, then the noise is back on.
I hear the noise especially when I am near the wall or in between cars in the parking lot
There is no other problems performance or mileage wise...
I just completed a waterpump+cooling replacement in summer.
Any thoughts greatly appreciated!
-Thanks
[P.s I did a search on this, but I did not find any useful info.]

My Name is Bimmerfiver,
And I write once a week about pulley noises in our cars. You know, the pulleys and deflectors the rubber belts of our cars roll on.
I can only suggest to the owner of the car the noises aren't coming from the wall, the wall is merely a backboard for the noises which is somewhere in you car. I'd pop the hood and listen for it, have someone hit the gas to hear a change in pitch. I'd narrow it down and replace all pulleys, deflectors and belts. Chances are, it's them.
Regards,
Bimmerfiver

My guess is Tensioner pulley. Is it more of a chirping noise?
check out my video below and let me know if it's the same noise.

I also have the same problem on my 02 530i. The chirping noise is only heard in less than a minute and usually disappear after shutting down and restarting the engine. Any help would be appreciated.
