94 325is transmission broken????

I have a automatic '94 325is and the transmission seems to be going out. It slips constantly when I take off and most of the time when it shifts (really bad in downshifting).

I thought about a manual swap but I'm afraid might not be wort the $2000(Just the ZF kit from Zionsville Autosport)

Any suggestions????

You can swap a manual trans into your car yourself for less than $750 for everything. Zionsville rapes customers.

where should i look for the parts or kits
