99' 540i AC Schnitzer - Too Good to be true?

Here is the link. I know its a salvage title and am in the process to see what the reason was (totaled, stolen, flood, ect..) Its a very attractive price that brings a red flag to my "too good to be true' thoughts..

Doesn't look all that great to me. I just picked up a 2001 540i 6speed (150k miles) for 9k. It is fully loaded, including navigation. 1 owner, new clutch, new suspension and an extra set of winter rims/tires. The car looks excellent and drives like new. The one in the link doesn't give me the warm fuzzies....

Actually it's the "downgraded" grille found on the earlier e39 version painted black

that car looks like it was beaten on... hard.

Wheels look beat, the cluster and radio pixels are almost done for, steering wheel buttons are beat, the interior looks sub-par... almost like someone shat themselves 1-too many times.

wow that thing is a pile. Not only is it at some shady-ass dealer (that means the head gasket is blown for sure) but it's been ebay'd out to the fullest. "Full ACS body kit"?? Where? I'm surprised it doesn't have the chrome flame stickers around the emblem on the trunk. Speaking of the trunk, HOLY EFFING ORANGEPEEL.
