Im looking for drag tires to run on my stock 15x7 M3 wheels. Right now im running 255/40/17's with no rubbing at all. I'm looking at the M/T ET Street Radial-3751R P225/50R15 24X9.00R15. Do you think this is the biggest i could fit?

Cuz his car is actually fast in a straight line. Did you forget you are in the drag racing subforum?

you must have clicked the wrong subforum sir. honest mistake actually. seems several people lately are making that mistake and spewing their biased opinions of how cars "should be used" here.

no worries. just hit the back button and navigate to the area that better suits your interests. :)

I run a 24.5x8x15 M/T slick on my 15x7 wheels. They fit perfectly and have tremdous grip.

Exactly. I wouldn't run bigger than an 8" wide slick on a 7" wheel.

we have the same set up.. I tried the P225/50r15 with the stock rims and there's still room for bigger tires..I'll be buying the next size up which I think is 235/60r15. 3752r

24.5X8X15 should be fine for an e30 chassis. He is only in the 500+ hp range if im correct. 8 in tire on a 7in rim is fine. I run a 9.5in tire on a stock 7in rim without issues. If there is still a problem hooking then suspension will need some dialing in.
