I am looking to replace my aging E32 with an E91. More specifically, choosing between a couple of '06 325xi Touring. One with 16k miles with 2 years of warranty left and one with 2500 miles with close to 4 years of warranty left. The latter, even though a 2006 model, only saw the road just 3 months ago. So it is very close to brand new but, of course, it is $3500 higher in price.

Since I am new to the E90/91/92 world, my question is:

What kind of issues had any of you gone through with your E91? What should I look out for? Any advice from the current-gen 3-series owners here?

TIA for any help.

Naturally I would go with the one with lower mileage and longer warranty. Let's hear what other people have to say.

I'd guesstimate that the 2 more years of bumper-to-bumper warranty and fewer miles is easily worth $3500.

The E91 is just an E9x with a bigger sunroof and more interior space. I haven't had any problems that are specific to the wagon design.

Ok, more specifics.

The one with 16k miles is Alpine White in color and the one with 2500 miles is Sonora Gold (something like that) in color. They are identical in specs, except the Sonora doesn't have a CD changer and steering wheel buttons. But feels tighter as, obviously, it has a lot lesser miles.

I personally like the Alpine White color more but I like the lower mileage and tighter feel of the Sonora.

What do you guys think of the metallic Sonora color?
