Did a similar treatment to the 318 also today. Used zymol cleaner wax insted of polishing the car.
Im leaving for Australia tomorrow and wont be back for 3 months.
Cars should be protected.

You didn't finish up with a lighter polish and pad? Yellow is pretty aggressive. I bet you can make that paint pop......

I worked on a Sliver Lancer on saturday. The paint was so soft I only had to use 106FF w/white pad at 1800 RPMS........I loved it. It was so easy compared to bimmers.........

O, btw.......this is a BMW forum -> :shifty:

lol, jk. Nice work

He used Meg's yellow, which is about the abrasiveness of a LC white pad, so it's not too bad, but #83 is a bit on the abrasive side of polishes

OP good work.. as Monkey mentioned though, I would finish down with a lighter polish/pad combo just to make the paint a bit clearer (yes it's possible)

Something like Meg's #80 and a white LC pad or the same Meg's yellow pad (I'm assuming you used the 9006 pad?)

Looks good nonetheless
