Red Brake light and car on lift message?

Hello all!
This morning I started my car(07' 335i) and while warming it up my brake light came on in red as well as the exclamation mark. Upon control check it shows the car on the lift in red. anyone know what this means? And to answer the obvious my e-brake is not engaged, I never use it. And it was the first thing I checked.

Never mind I searched some more and found the answer. Mod's can remove if necessary.

The answer is that the problem is borderline epidemic, and that various owners ahev ahd differing levels of success in dealing with it. Good luck, s you said, it has been discussed before.

After my 4th trip to the dealer for this problem, they finally replaced my pads, and sensors. I also had the pads chamfered, the sensors trimmed and then replaced, the pads remounted and relubricated, the guide pins inspected, the ECU program updated, etc.
