You should post this over on bimmerfest.com as well...in the Z3 section. There are a ton of people that have yanked out their oem system from their M coupe.

Thanks Bryon, but I just thought to myself, if I'm going to spend 350 for a used OEM CD headunit, I might as well get a good aftermarket one right?

yeah, really the only advantage in getting a used OEM headunit is to keep the factory look, which is what I'm going for... let me know if you find any decent deals on one, or an aftermarket one that preserves a lot of the stock feel
