I just bought a certified pre-owned 06 325i 6spd about a month ago. I just noticed this happening 2 times in the last week. For no paticular reason that I can see, the car takes awhile to crank over when I hit the start button, (65 degree day) and then when I start and shift to 2nd it is making a pretty bad tranny clunk. After this is shifts fine and no other issues. It happened once last week and I just though "wierd" however it happened this morning again same sort of steps. Hard start and I let it run for a little bit and warm up, again clunked into 2nd. Any suggestions before I take it to the dealer and they say they can't reproduce it. haha. I have had it happen maybe like 2 times out of 15 or 16 starts.
Thanks,
Tim

It's slow on this section on the weekends. I guess some people have more fun stuff to do on weekends than visit this board :shifty.

Is it cold out now? I know when I had my Audi I would have trouble shifting until the transmission fluid was up to temp...and this was in Cali where cold is 45-degrees.
