I recently purchased 20' giovanna coumos in flat black, the wheels look great, but there was a problem in driving. after 50 mph the steering wheel began to shake. I got it balanced numerous times, used hubcentric rings, and finally got advice from the owner of the local tire shop to purchase german made rims, he said sometimes rims for bmws just do not work. Please help me out here, wheelsnext the company i got the rims from have not been answering the phone nor returning any emails. What can i do to make these rims work, or what can possibly be the problem. the car never did this until these rims were put on

I don't know where giovanna wheels are made, but that line about neeeding german wheels sounds like a crock of shit.

Any wheel that has a certification should be fine (althought i don't know if giovannas do).

Are you using cheapo tires, or are they a reputable brand?

I assume since you have an M6 it is fairly new and the front suspension is fine/stock. True?

using nitto 555's not complete cheapos.. but knowing that on a car with 500 hp and the inability to rotate due to staggered fit, i figure i would just go with these because i would most likely have to spend another grand in 6 months to replace these.

In the tech section of Roundel, the author doesn't seem too fond of wheels that need hubcentric rings. He apparently see lots of vibration issues. I always thought wheelsnext was a cheapo/ghetto place to buy wheels, especially for an M6.

Next time I'd go with tirerack.com, they know what they are doing over there.
