Is there a way or a product to safely remove the bug remains from paint without removing the wax at the same time? But without really getting into soaping/wiping/rinsing the whole front of the car? Yes, I'm looking for a lazy man's way of doing this......

TIA,
Scott

meguiars quick detailer will do it the lazy way and keep the wax intact on the paint, just let it soak into the bugs for a minute or two then wipe off and do it in patches (dont spray the entire front bar and bonnet at once) ...and you`re done.

yes there is a way but there really isnt a safe way to do it without washing. you could try optimum no rinse though which would be the safest way to do it without using car wash. just try to avoid using quick detailer as there is IMO not enough lubricant to prevent sratching

as long as you get to washing your car soon enough then the bugs should wipe right off with your mit

I use a diluted Optimum No Rinse mix. I just spray it on, let it penetrate for a minute or two and then can usually wipe it off without scratching the paint or removing the existing sealant layer on the car.

Yea as long as you do it soon without allowing time for the bugs to dry and harden then this should be safe
