View Full Version : Felt trim stuff that goes IN the shadowline trim?

Hey guys - Abrahams Motorsport gave me a killer deal on two lower front window pieces of shadow line trim since the ones I got weren't perfect. He also got them out SUPER fast. I think it was one day or two days Mel!
Anyway - I didn't realize they don't have the felt crap inside them that seals against the outside of the window. I'd try swapping the ones from the other shadowline I have but thats partly the reason I got new ones - that part is torn. So, what is the deal? How do I swap these fabric/felt things into the shadowline trim and what is the part number? I'll have to order new ones as my chrome ones are old and gross and the shadowline ones I have has a tear.
Thanks guys!

Put a bigger turbo on it.
You'll be going so fast that the slipstream wont let the water touch your car. Consequently, you wont have to worry about the tear causing leakage.

Ah, when you said it went against the outside of the window I thought you were talking about the inside trim pieces.

No - it goes on the outside shadow line pieces

Thats the outter side that you see from outside the car (the white spots are on the underside, looks like where they hang the part when they powder/paint it)
The felt I am looking for clips into here, right where the dolla bills is:

Now that I think about it, the shadowline makes a good dolla bill holder

Jon, I've found that the real thing doesn't need to be held down, it can just sit on a desk.
What's with Grant joining the party? Run out of Benjamins?

Not-trusting the banks haha, cause remember if a bank goes down, you dont get your savings back ;)
Buy gold if it is long-term savings.

In America, if a bank goes down your accounts are Federally insured for up to $100,000. If I'm not mistaken that has just been increased to $250k, but that may not have happened yet.

No pix ...they don't let cameras in there. I am a field engineer for a 'financial support company' ...I was working on a cash vault at a bank ...there were three tellers in there at the same time doing their jobs. The biggest pile of cash I have ever seen in person (in one place) was >$14 Billion  ...I was the engineer for the Federal Reserve Bank at the time.
