Ok so I want to remove my rear spoiler that is definately not stock (I have the rear brake light in the window) OR OEM. The LED light is out and am not generally a fan of spoilers so out it goes. There are 4 bolts holding it in place, plus this rubber/tarish stuff wedged between the trunk lid and spoiler.

1) Will this rubberish stuff come off ok?

2) What technique/materials should I use to fill in the holes?

3) What kind of weathering/damage will I be looking at from the spoiler being installed all these years?

Yes, 3M adhesive remover will remove any left over glue residue and then you need to polish to even at the color difference

2) What technique/materials should I use to fill in the holes?

I have seen guy use rubber plugs or just have a body shop do the work

3) What kind of weathering/damage will I be looking at from the spoiler being installed all these years?

You will notice a color difference and it will need to be polished

Hope that helps

Unless you go with the rubber plugs mentioned above, you'll probably need a body shop to fill in the holes and respray (and color match) the trunk lid.
