I am about to inherit 17 inch ds2's from my father:alright from our race car gone wild:buttrock. The wheels are a little beat, and I was wondering if anyone knew what it might cost to get them refinished.

At least $100 a piece here in LA area. Wheels America about $145 each. Not cheap. Just sell them "as is" and buy a decent set.

100 bucks a wheel isn't that bad. I bet it is about the same here in texas. What might they bring here on the forum? I think we gave about 400 for the set.

Are they bent? If not, painting them is a pretty easy task

Nope not bent at all! They just have some brake dust pits and some curb rash from the previous owner.

powder coat them. 100-125 per wheel depending on the current coating and what type/color you want them done in.
at least at the shop i work with. add some cash if you need filler or any other rim repairs.

DIY. bondo for the rash. A good primer filler spray. Color of your choice. And a good clear coat.

Hmmm...I have been thinking about taking them somewhere to get redone in that silver like on the style 42's. At the same time I really have started to like the ASA AR1's in 17 from tire rack. I figure that if I sell my 16 inch mini-lites, and those DS2's with good rubber on the 16's then I should be able to have the cash for the ASA's and Bilstein/H&R's from turner. Does anyone have a pic of a lowered 325is with ASA's?
