if you think of the generational changes of bmw it will probably look a lot like an E34 from the front since the E36 was designed right after the E34. So I imagine that it would end up looking like what a 1990 6 series if it existed (but smaller obviously).

Also try: a 94ish 740 grille( which is wider like an e36), headlights(which are closer to the corner lights than the e34 like an e36 is).

so is this actually possible? You can make anything fit in photoshop but could this really be done fairly easily? what problems would you run into wiring wise? and the part of the e36 grill that extends out and the e30 grill doesn't.
