See attached. Overall I like the look, but I have the ambers still if I ever decide to swap them back in.

I would've rocked amber on a blue, but clear isn't bad. Just ditch the wheels and you're good!

Yeah I liked the amber look too, but I just wanted something different. I hear it's common to flip-flop between amber & clear from time to time! :D

EDIT: I actually wanted to go with smoked vs. clear but this good deal came along I couldn't pass up. How does one typically add smoke to clear lights? Lamin-X? Spray? I haven't done much research in the area.

I loved the ambers. I actually like your wheels a lot. Sure they are not some super-rare 3-piece, but they sure look clean!

I think most people use a spray, i've seen alot of threads on it.

Actually, the wheels aren't bad at all.

Drop it.

I get so many comments on those wheels, it's funny. The PO threw them on as part of one of those package wheel + tire deals at a local tire shop. They're not OE but I really like the look, and they're not too hard to clean, and fairly lightweight (brushed aluminum).

It's already lowered on H&R/Bilstein sports! Maybe because they're 18's it looks high?

clear on avus is always the cleanest. amber looks gross.

they were the first mod i did to my avus.
