Does anyone know what these centers are made of? I had mine recently powdercoated and I think that they are now slightly warped? Can they be fixed? I think that the strength and integrity of the wheel has decreased from my powdercoater attempting to powdercoat them 3 times before he was successful. Is it possible that the high temp baking caused these to warp a bit?

I recently mounted new tires on them after I pieced them back together and they balanced out fine, but they each had a slight hop on the balance machine when they were rotating. We concluded that the centers were causing this hop.

Any thoughts from you knowledgable wheel guys? Can these be repaired or am I better off getting new centers and just spraying them myself? Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem when I had my set refinished. Yes, I was told at first that the center part was warped. Come to find out that when the wheel refinishing place re-assembled the rim(s) the centers piece was not evenly torqued. This is the end result if the bolts are not torqued evenly and they will give you all the B.S. that this is warped/bent etc. They finally had to disassemble the rim and retorqued the bolts one by one (I cant remember how many (32???)) and finally they got it right. You might wanna have them do that procedure if they are willing to do it which I doubt because of the process. Good luck!
