Finished my car's interior, and found if I don't vac the wet carpet, it's very hard to dry. But my vac will blow if water gets into it.
So, any vac in the market likes water?

I used carpet shampoo to clean it, cuz it was very dirty, so I applied shampoo at least 3 times.
Vacume has hoses......

I would stick to a shop vac or the like. Basically if it is just a household vacuum and doesn't say wet/dry on it you will risk blowing your circuit breaker at the very least and possibly ruining your vacuum as well.

I use a Craftsmen Vac/Blo. 265MPH and it has a detachable blower which makes it worth every penny! It goes for $100 at Sears!

Any wet/dry shop vac will do. I use a ridgid myself.
