Hey guys, yes I've searched, but would like to hear your thoughts on the differences between these 3 tires for noise, handling, and treadwear (life). Thanks!

Michelin Pilot Sport Exalto PE2 (Ultra High Performance Summer) ZR Rated $130

Michelin Pilot Sport PE2 (Ultra High Performance All Season) ZR Rated $134

Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S (High Performance All Season) R Rated $117

I don't know much about tires, but I vaguely remember some correlation between tire hardness, ride comfort, noise, and treadwear. Maybe you guys can enlighten me on how that goes again. Softer tires don't last as long but are quieter? Anyways, look forward to hearing your comparison of these. Thanks

I don't have direct experience with the last two listed, but I have been through a couple sets of the Exalto PE2s. Great performance in both wet and dry conditions and very quiet. They don't last long though, my experience was 15-20k miles.

I've found with most Michelins you can expect a quiet, smooth ride. The main difference between those three would probably be treadlife and handling capabilities.

I should add that I live in Texas, so I don't really need all-weather tires. If that makes a difference. Keep the input coming, thank you

The real difference between the tires is the A/S is going to last longer and it will work in the winter. The ride quality and noise is going to be very similar. The handling is going to be better with the PE2
If I can help let me know.

Thanks, Jim, I went with the A/S from the TireRack. In the future, do you guys offer any forum discounts?

The prices listed on the site are the best that we have. Occasionally the tire mfg's. do run rebates.
