View Full Version : Anyone ever heard of discounttiredirect.com?
I was browsing through a Car & Driver and saw their advertisement with some pretty damn good prices on wheels. There's a set of Momo's in there for a pretty decent price but can I trust this place? All I'm looking to do is replace my bottlecaps with some wheels, gonna stay 15" as I just put $700 worth of tires on due to traveling and safety. The wheels are the Momo Corse RPM series.
Edit: Anyone know if these come in a 5-lug pattern? I just realized these are 4-lug. :devillook

You are kidding, right ?
You are kidding, right ?
Wheels and tires aren't my thing man. This is why I joined bf.c, to learn more. Sure they may be the best company in the world to buy from or they may not. Those wheels might be absolute crap. Either way, it's just a question.

You can buy from DTD with complete confidence.
I've gotten several sets of tires from DTD.

They've been around for quite some time, DJ. You'll be in good hands. For one reason, or another, I have been using The Tire Rack forever, so they are my first choice, but DTD is a very good outfit.
Speaking of TTR, a few years ago, we were lucky enough to have TTR move a warehouse 2 miles from my office, here in Shreveport, LA. WooooHooo!!! Call 'em and pick 'em up, baby!! SCORE!!
Have fun shoppin', my friend.

Good outfit with good prices....:)
The local store is the one I use for all my tires. Nice to be able to schedule a Saturday morning appointment ahead of time. Show up and have the car taken in immediately, while all those that just pulled in with no appointment are giving me the dirty look....:D
And this outfit pays attention to details:
Tell them NO IMPACT WRENCH once and it's noted in the file, so you don't need to worry about some idiot overtightening the lugs.
Same with the staggered air pressure.
