Anyone know of any reliable shops in New England to get headwork done.

I had my Volvo head done at a place in Brockton, but I don't remember the name. They did a nice job, but they took for-freaking-ever to finish. If I think of the name, I'll post it.

I'm really not sure if they do head work but I know 3DAutoworks does work on BMW engines.

Thanx for all the replies guys, any others? Owen have you had work done on your car from Nick's Automotive?

I'd only go to one of two places. Either Import Machine in Framingham 508 572-RACE (I think...) or Shine Racing in Walpole 508-660-7974.

With that said, I've had headwork done by some of the best on my previous cars, only to dyno and see NO gain in hp or torque at all!!

Personally I think porting/polishing a head for a street engine is a huge waste of time and money...

Good to know maybe I'll stop thinking about dropping more cash into my car for a little bit :biglaughb
