Guys,

Since i was on the previous GB on the ACS replica pedals...i would like to get a shift knob and e-brake to match my set.

I've found a guy that is willing to give us a good deal. I need a total of 5 people.

the GB price is $150.00 shipped for both. He normally sells it for $90 shipped each.

Once i get the five people confirmed buyers i will pay him and you should receive it within 3 days..bc he'll send it USPS priority mail.

If you want in, you can paypal me via checking account to jokster@socal.rr.com

I'll update the list as soon as i get people confirmed.

are these replicas or the real deal? also, any pics of them installed in cars? would just like a better idea. Thanks!

these are replicas. i don't have it...i want a set but then i want it at a cheaper price. so i asked him to set up a group buy. he said ok. 75 bucks each.

Original goes for 240 for the shift knob
and 150 for the e-brake.

if no one goes in...i guess i'm just gonna bite the bullet and buy it myself. :(

Actually, i only need 4 people...since i'm the 5th person.

If you can get just the ebrake, I'm in.

Already have the shift knob. :)

are those pics of the actual fake products or a pic of the real products to represent the fake products?

I ask cause they have the packaging down to a science - at least from what I can tell from the photo of course.

Also, most Fake e-brake and shift knobs are generic with ACS stamped or engraved on them, they usually don't look like the real product. Look around on ebay and you'll know what I mean.

You're right Ron.
If those pics are of the replicas, then I have to wonder about the knob I bought from sfhighroller.
All the packaging looks like genuine ACS with the box mine came in. Even the instructions in Deutsche.

Still want the e-brake handle Jokster. :laugh

I need some clarification. You stated that the shift knob and handle were replicas earlier. But then posted an ebay link where it states that they are "Original ACS" I am confused. If they are original, then I am interested.

Look at this handle and tell me that's an authentic ACS part.
The engraving of "Schnitzer" looks flawed. Really substandard.

Also this has only one chrome accent.

Another vendor: Trendracing
same product as above. Even engraving looks identical.

Pay particular attention to the "tz". Does that look right?
Granted, these are for $38 or $40.
The parts in M3 Jokster's pic are a much better product.

This one from MMS Tuning. A supporting vendor. Looks quite different the the ones above. Especially the engraving.
Notice the definition of the edges on the handle.

JayT,

according to him....he say it's original...but then...for 75 bucks compared to the real deal @ 240 what do u think? i think it's a replica and not the real deal...and if it's a real deal...then ok if not...i don't care bc most of us can't even detect the real ones from the fake ones.

i'm still interested...anyone else interested. 5 orders has to be filled to get the deal.

Hung, if the vendor can guarantee that what we get is the same product as shown in the pic you posted, I am definitely in.

it's messed up that the seller is claiming they are real but I don't really care. All I can say is DAMN!!! at the amount time and effort they put into them.

Hey guys,

I went through all his past sales on the knobs and e-brake, i was very fortunate to have a couple of replies. here is a guy that purchased and installed the ACS shift knob from this guy off ebay.

This is his email he sent to me:

Subject: Re: Question from eBay Member questions regarding ACS shift knob.
To: jokster@socal.rr.com

Hung,

I have mounted (installed) it in my car, Itīs an original AC
Schnitzer knob. The quality is very good and the finish too.

I really recommend you to buy one of theese. The price is very good.
Itīs 1/3 of how much a local dealer wants for one here.

And the seller, Euro2k3 is good to do business with. No problems and fast delivery.

Here is a pic of my knob installed, Itīs exactly the same as in the
picture of his auction.

Donīt hesitate to mail me further question.

Best regards,

Edvard

guys, i had one of those knobs in my possession, at the same time that i had an *authentic* chrome/aluminum ACS knob... They are NOT real ACS knobs. The quality is decent, but the finish is all wrong for an ACS Short shift knob, and the dead give away is the weight. This thing was like a feather compared to my real ACS knob. The boxes DO look like real ACS stuff though, that I will say. Somehow they sourced some real boxes, or they replicated them extremely well.

how about this guys.....i'll just bite the bullet and pay for it...since i can't afford the "real deal"....i think i'll just close the GB.

once i install it...i'll share my own thoughts on it.

wish me luck guys!

Hung, I'm still in. I just want the quality to be up to the pic you posted.
Those pics of ebrake handles I got from ebay are of a much lower standard of wrokmanship.

Whaddya' think?:)

Hung, how'd you like to buy my ACS SS knob?

I wouldn't charge you what I paid for it, being used.

Maybe we could get a couple of e-brake handles from this guy.
I just need to check to see if the knob I want is available.

PM'd you, again.:laugh
