I have a question.

What shall i connect the fan up to for my fan delete mod.
Have bought a twin fan from a pug 205gti.
A friend has taken off his fog lights and wired it to them, all he has to do is push his fog lights on or off and the fan comes on or off.

How can i connect this to an electric source and put a switch in aswell? Does anyone have a writeup of how it is done?

Do you want it hooked to a manual switch, or have it come on automatically?

Wire it in to your parking light setting on your headlight switch?

Well putting it on the sensor, or putting it on a switch is pretty much the same. You'll need a relay (Autozone carries a fan relay kit, $20 or so). Tap the main power at the fuse panel or jump-start block, and tap the signal wire into the low-speed circuit on the fan switch screwed into the side of the radiator. Viola, it'll come on when the switch trips. Otherwise you can tap the signal wire into whatever other source you want. Hell you could have the thing run all the time, I suppose.

Tap the signal wire from the fan relay to the low-temp side of the radiator fan switch.

+1. just did this afew days ago, one wire to low temp switch (black/green wire on temp switch), and one to a switchable power source. You could wire your own switch and mount it right infront of the sunglass cubby. search Spal diy and you'll find all the info you need.
