Hey guys, I need to replace a tire on my 2000 328i.

My car came with Michelin Harmony tires, and the original Continental tire on the spare. Unfortunately I bumped a curb and pinched one of my tires, and the tire shops around here cannot get another Michelin Harmony to replace the one I damaged.

I'm looking to get the tire from Tire Rack since the tires are available there, but should I get one tire or two? The Michelin Harmony tires on my car now have at least 9/32" tread left, and the Michelin Harmony tires new have 11/32" tread. Would just one tire work, or is that 1/8" difference in tire diameter going to matter?

If the difference in tread depth is that minimal it shouldnt be an issue at all... just put it on the rear. I have heard of Tire Rack "shaving" tires down to you specs. but im not sure if thay do that for all tires or even at all anymore.

Also, does anyone have experience with ordering tires from Tire Rack and getting them shipped to Canada? Just wondering about any problems with customs/duty charges.
