Cabin Lighting Help

Last night I noticed that the light for the cigarette lighter as well as the counsel ashtray and rear passener ashtray aren't lighting up. I took the counsel apart and realized that they're all connected to the same line. I can't fine where the short is or what's the problem.

Any ideas?

Start with the easy stuff like checking fuses and making sure all the wires in that circuit are connected. There is no easy way to find a shorted wire:(

Do you have anything aftermarket wired up to that area, like infront of the sunglass cubby. Mine wasn't lighting up for a while when I first got my car, then it would do it sometimes, now all the time. Connections could be dirty too. Past drink spills or just dirt and clutter.

Did you check the actual bulbs as they also use the exact same type of bulb and they are known to blow quite easily.
