front spoiler (lip) question

I purchased a M Technic front spoiler/lip from a member. It looks like he had mounted it with screws. It looks like it should be mounted with push clips or something. What is the correct way to mount it to the M3 bumper?

actually--it mounts with screws and there are holes that need to be drilled in the M bumper and inserts put in.
