View Full Version : What do you guys think?
I may be posting these on ebay but, don't know what I should charge for them. Any suggestions or comments would be greatly appreciated.

Hello
Sorry I wish I could guide you on these but I have zero experience on the BMW's. I just bought mine and think that all Sharks should have the yellow European style lights. They just look amazing. I would suggest trying to find another set for sale in the same condition and see what they are going for.

These are where actually only used in the early french e24's. All cars there where using the yellow lights those days, because the white ones would blind the drivers from the oppossit direction. The problem is you would see less because of the lower light output. I think they look great tough!
Were the French e24 lights rounded or flat euro?

Just curious. Probably a stupid question, but are these legal on US roadways? Those yellow lights would look great on my sable brown 6er. Fuel for my fire baby! haha.
They would take the place of your high beams only.

Been thinking the same thing myself. Yellow highs may look good on a white 6. Been looking in the salvage yards for a set of yellows from an old mercedes. They're usually already gone, faded or cracked.

I have installed flat faced Hella high beams. Definite improvement over sealed beams on these dark country roads.

+a big number on those I had them on my e30. but yes to no avail can I find the amber high beams anywhere appearently they are not DOT approved so no one makes them sorry for that miss info. but what alot of people do is but this protective film from lamin-x that makes them appear to be yellow that you can just peal off
Get Hellas here http://www.rallylights.com/hella/5.75_lo.asp They are easy to deal with and knowledgeable. Also you can check new prices and price used ones accordingly.

Hmmm....the yellow ones in the pics shows DOT at the top and has the "tits" for the headlight aimers used by shops here in the US. Notice the euro lights next to them do not have these.
What is the technical outside diameter of the e24 headlights?

The general diameter that most people reference is 5.25"
