What has Turner said? Did they recommend any changes with the chip?

Make sure you got the chip in the right direction. My car actually ran smoother with the Conforti chip. It may also be that you got the wrong chip by mistake. The correct chip for the M6 is marked 0079-0000.

There shouldn't be any modifications for installing the Turner chip. Where did you get the chip?? Directly from Turner Motorsports? When you installed your chip, what kind of condition was your circuit board in?? The ECU's are not sealed so it is possible for dust and dirt to get in through the top. I would get a can of compressed air (9 bucks at your local Computer store) and give it a GOOD spray with the Chip OUT. Make sure there isn't any dust in the sprockets which could be causing interruptions in the idle. How does the car run when it isn't in idle?? Any noticeable faults in operation? How was the dile before you installed the chip??

Also make sure no pins were bent over during installation.
