Hey folks, I searched around the forums but haven't found anything conclusive. I titled this thread so that perhaps others could find the answers they want.
A friend bought a 06 330i used and it came with the standard two key fobs (mind you no comfort access)... AND a little thin plastic key that he keeps in his wallet. This key has a caddy of sorts that looks and feels like the standard fob, and goes into the ignition "hole." The plastic key goes inside of this fob for storage/starting the car. He said it's a valet key and that my car should have one too..
Well, I have an 08 335i (with comfort access) and I only got two keys, both on fobs, with the 16 little stickers to put on the back as well. (I have the male and female ones ;) ). I did not get a little plastic key for my wallet and am wondering if I am entitled to one?
I checked with the dealer and they said no, but they can by sneaky/naive.
So do cars with comfort access come with a plastic key (for the doors and/or trunk)?
