So looking for some feedback. I have a 335i Sedan, Sport Package, and only have it on 24 month lease that I started in December of 2007. The past winter was pretty dicey with the stock tires and I have started looking at winter options.

So, I really only have one winter left with this lease and I am debating between buying wheels and tires or just winter tires and have them mounted on the stock (sport) wheels. That will save about $500.

Any thoughts?

On my 911, I pay $100 to get my Blizzak LM25's mounted, so it'll cost you about $200 to put them on and take them off. You could sell the tires after the winter. You'll take less of a hit than if you buy 4 tires and wheels and sell them. You will love the performance and handling you get from winter tires, not only when there are adverse weather conditions, but when it's cold out also. The tires are made with a rubber compound that stays pliable at lower temperatures. Summer (performance) tires are like skis in the winter.

you want to consider 17" wheels for the winter. I have Blizzaks for sale that work on 17" sport package wheels.....used about 1.5 winters on my wife's 325i.

thanks

I would get a winter set of wheels and tires. It's nice to be able to change them on your own, especially for long road trips or mild winters/early spring etc.
