Seems pretty nice. How would you guys say that Vogtland package stacks up to, say, an Eibach/Bilstein combination for a daily-driven 540?

If you can afford Koni do Koni. I have Eibach/Koni and love it.
Everyone loves their springs with the exception of the many in the BavAuto crowd...

I have Eibach / Sachs Sport on the 540 and love them as well. Go figure
The sig pic is before installing the springs/shocks. I'm gonna take a fresh one once the ACS is all installed 'n' painted

I have Vogtland/Billy Sports. I would prefer a slightly less rigid suspension so I am going to purchase Koni's.
The Billy Sports ride nice until you get to any bump in the road. Only way to explain it is: it's like pulling on your seat belt, if you pull it slow it will extend and retract nicely, but once you yank on it, it locks up. Every time I reach a bump in the road even at slow 15-20mph speeds it always feels like I have somehow hit a curb. Which is great for a track car, you want them to get stiff and stay put when your changing direction left or right quickly, but for everyday driving, it kind of sucks.
The Vogtlands I love. I had Eibach before and they were nice, they rode great, I just didn't like how the car still looked like it was higher in the front than the back. The Vogtlands gave me a small rake, which evened the wheel gap front and rear.

Thanks, everyone, for the great feedback. Your comparison was excellent, Schneller, both visually and descriptively -- exactly what I needed.
I think Vogtland/Koni will be the way to go once I convince myself to spend the money. (Squeeeeeal, bank account. Squeal like a pig!)

True but the point is dont expect to receive some Vogtland springs from that seller right away. At the time that I ordered, his auction said he had like 8 in stock. When I got refunded my money, I checked his auction and it said he still had some in stock. This person uses the same excuse when he/she can't deliver your goods (damaged springs during shipment) but at least you get your money back :cool
I got my Vogtlands through Purems.com and it took about 3 weeks to get my springs. Not too shabby.

I just installed my Vogtlands and Bilsteins and the ride is stiffer than I would have liked it to be. Cornering improved greatly and the car feels great but its a little stiffer than I expected. I'm glad I didnt get H&R springs since theyre supposed to be some of the stiffer springs for our cars. Which Koni's are you going to purchase?
