Check what?

Ok did a CEL check yesturday got code 1444 no CEL codes.. good but ok car still runs funky.. but what is the check light that is on next to the one with the cog on it?... its on, says check.. Im like Check what!... My OBC pixels are all screwed so its no help... so if there's no CEL, and the Cog isnt lit why is the Check light on...

borrow a buddies obc, that check light could mean something as stupid as washer fluid being low. "Check engine" throws cel codes... "check" throws codes to the obc :|

i would unfortunately i dont know anyone with a bmw .. I was going to do the Pixel fix i saw but as of yesturday the screen went from garbled mess to nothingness i think i may have blown the fuse for it becuse i was messing around with the wires behind it and may have shorted something.. ill pull it tonight... Thanks!

Another option is to call junk yards...sometimes you can get an obc for a ridiculously low dollar amount. If not, I think I have a spare 18 button in the garage somewhere. I'll give it to ya for half whatever the going price is + shipping
