My electric doors locks do not work. I have to lock the car, by using the trunk lock.
That works for locking that doors.
What I am worried about is that lock quitting working as well, and locking me out.
What is needed to fix door lock problems? Where do I get information?

well im pretty sure that the trunk lock always works when the system is dead, otherwise you can manually lock all the doors haha, i mean there are only 2 of them!
I woud think the system is covered in teh bentley (dont know, dont have one!), or at least the wiring is covered in the online ETMs...

There is not Bentley for the 6 series. I have the 5 series Bentley, is it the same? Does anyone know?

Check that none of the wires in the door jamb have broken.
If you fix it and don't want to put wear on the locks.....you can use a keyless entry alarm. Works great and saves your locks.

There is a procedure outlined in your owners' manual describing how to unlock the car with the key, without electrical power. Let us know if you don't have the owners' manual.
