high flow cats w/stock exhaust

Has anyone put in high flow cats with the stock muffler? If so how much louder is it. Im looking to make my exhaust louder than stock, but i really dont want it to drone on the highway

No point, OE cats flow plenty (consider them BMW's High Flow Cats ;)). I would only put on HF cats if my original ones were shot.
